drop'in Recipes
Recipes is drop'in's native language. A single description covers your entire app — interface, data, logic, validations, security, infrastructure — and compiles to web, Android, iOS, Windows, Linux and macOS, with no duplication.

Recipes, not code.
With drop'in, you describe your entire application — interface, logic, data, validations, security, infrastructure — through "Recipes". A Recipe is a structured description of a building block of your app: a screen, a data type, a function, a domain, a permission. Think of it as a blueprint: not code, but a precise specification of what should exist, expressed through a controlled vocabulary of named functional building blocks.
This descriptive language has a key advantage over programming when working with AI: by expressing intent within a well-defined field of possibilities rather than open-ended code, the AI produces more reliable results with fewer hallucinations. Recipes are also easier to maintain and evolve — a change in description propagates cleanly, without cascading side effects.
From these descriptions, drop'in automatically generates the application across all platforms, the database, the back-office, and deploys the entire infrastructure needed.
Studio. The visual workshop.
Studio will give you full visual control. When it ships, you'll be able to refine what the Chat generated or build directly with the mouse. Both approaches coexist.
Real-time interface workshop
Place your components, adjust styles, see the result instantly on every target platform. Every change produces a valid Recipe.
Block-based logic
Assemble interactive blocks to define your functions and automations. All the power of a programming language, without the complexity.
Editor. The back-office.
An auto-generated back-office from your Recipes. Manage users, content, and collections daily without returning to the creation tool.
Catalog. The marketplace.
A community marketplace of Projects (packaged, versioned Recipe bundles) and Distributions (ready-to-deploy instances). Integrate proven building blocks and adapt them to your needs. Buy, sell and share your creations.
The advantages of the in-house language.
Unlimited customization
The combinable building-block system is generic by design. No technical wall: if you can describe it, Recipes can build it.
Performance & security
Rust compiler. Apps compiled to native code, not interpreted. Permissions, authentication, and type validation built in by design.
Native cross-platform
A single Recipe produces web, mobile (Android + iOS), and desktop (Windows + Linux + macOS). No duplication, no syncing between codebases.
AI-native
Controlled vocabulary, explicit intent, bounded design space: AI generates and edits Recipes more reliably than free-form code, with fewer hallucinations and changes that propagate cleanly.
The plan for Recipes.
alpha NOW
drop'in Recipes won't be available yet, but you'll be able to test other drop'in features through Chat.
beta
Recipes compiler and Editor (back-office). Automatic Recipe generation through Chat. Components, layouts, conditions, automations.
stable
Studio (visual workshop) and Catalog (Projects and Distributions). Full infrastructure (Connectors, Databases, Containers, Repositories, Deployments, Migrations), locked specs.
